SCR Continuous Copper Rod
Pacific Continuous Copper Rod system which produces conductor of wire and cable is one of SCR licensees of Southwire company in U.S.A. It was installed on 1983 and expanded to maximum capacity 150,000 tons per year on 1993 until now. To ensure high quality of copper rod , high grade copper cathodes are used as raw material and natural gas is used as fuel with automatic computer control system of melting. The temperature in shaft furnace is keeping in the range of 1250℃~1350℃ to melt copper cathodes and molten copper is through continuous casting and rolling system to produce high quality 8mm copper rod.
