Characteristics of FR & HR cable
- Fire Resistant
The fire resistant layer on the conductor of FR cable has excellent fire resistance and insulation properties. FR cable is complied and qualified with the following fire tests.
Certified with CNS 11359 (CNS certification mark) and certification for Fire Resistant Cable (fire resistant test 950℃, 90 minutes & 840℃, 30 minutes) from National Fire Agency of the Ministry of the Interior R.O.C.They can comply with following fire tests:
- CCNS 11174(Z2058) Fire Resistant Cable
- Japan Fire Defense Board Notification No.10 (840℃, 30 minutes)
- IEC 331(750℃, 3 hours)
- BS 6387(950℃, 3 hours)
The XLPE insulation of HR cable shall be of heat resistant, stable & has excellent electrical properties. HR cable has been certified by the Certification of Heat Resistant Cable from National Fire Agency of the Ministry of the Interior R.O.C. Besides, it is complied with Japan Fire Defense Board Notification No.11 (380℃, 15 minutes) & CNS 11175 (Heat resistant test 310℃, 15 minutes)

Simple and Easy In Jointing and Termination
Except for special Heating Fire Treatment on conductor splicing is required. There is same Jointing and termination method with XLPE-PVC cable.
